For example, Iveco offers a ZF hydraulic retarder as an option, controlled in sync with the engine brake. This system ensures smooth deceleration without overloading the engine or forgetting to disengage it.

Additionally, many chassis cabs can be equipped with a Power Take-Off (PTO) system. This feature transfers engine power to operate external equipment such as cranes, tippers or moving floors. It plays a crucial role in supporting various industrial and logistical operations.
